Dorothee Stoffels, BA/DipSW, MSc, MA

Core Philosophy:
Helping people to gain awareness about what happens inside them and between them and others is the key to supporting organisations to be places where individuals and teams can thrive.

Dorothee is an experienced OD Consultant, Executive and Team Coach and Coach Supervisor with many years of experience in supporting individuals, teams and organisations through major change.

Originally trained as a systemic psychotherapist, she has always taken a keen interest in how organisations function as systems and her interventions focus on the relational aspects of human interaction and change. Her work has spanned across one-to-one executive coaching work to working with teams and groups and to large organisational change programmes. She brings her systemic thinking and natural curiosity into all of her practice. She observes and works with the patterns that individuals and teams create with each other and explores narratives that exist about current organisational challenges and problems.

Following jobs in the UK National Health Service and with several London local authorities, she worked as an organisational development consultant and coach for a number of Business Schools and international consultancies. She teaches on the Ashridge Master in Executive Coaching and is the Programme Director for the Team Coaching Programme. She is co-editor and key contributor to the book ‘Relational Team Coaching’, which was published by Routledge in 2023. Dorothee has a growing supervision practice and supervises both individual and team coaches in group and 1-2-1 settings.

Dorothee has worked as a coach and OD consultant with a cross-section of organisations from a wide variety of sectors including the NHS, public sector, retail, automotive, finance sector and manufacturing and large infrastructure projects.
