Wise Words To Live By

Sometimes wisdom comes from unexpected places.  I was watching the movie “The Kingsman” with a friend and whose lovely prose should be uttered in the film but Hemingway’s. It was the first time that I had heard that particular quote though it felt familiar. The reason: These words encapsulate values I try and live by. On occasion I fail, and thankfully, I manage to remember again. Having these words to hand helps me to remember.

“There’s nothing noble about being superior to your fellow man. True nobility is being superior to your former self.”
